SERVICE FAILURE AT "McBride's RV" (Chino, CA)

I wanted to let everyone know the results of my Radiator Coolant change out and filter head/filter replacement on my coach. I did a lot of research and went to McBride's RV Service and Body Shop in Chino, California. Met "Chris" who seemed to care and spent a great deal of time with me going over the initial service requests of coolant change out and filter head/filter replacement, but also many other items as my RV would be gone over by one mechanic, (including tire pressure to 100psi, transmission fluid check, top off fluids, lube chassis, check roof, check batteries condition, and document everything in a user friendly handout.

Cut to the chase, the coolant was changed as was the filter head and filter apparently. They advised that the filter head was a bear to get not to leak. As to all the other items, they were not mentioned or logged or even considered. To make matters worse, when I mentioned to the manager, he didn't know that the appropriate thing would have been to offer me a ride back home until everything was completed as promised or offer to discount the less than satisfactory job. I should also mention that the website for the business was apparently outdated as that was the excuse they used when I pointed out that the quote for the bill was not what was listed on the website. So their website gets updated adding hundreds of dollars for services and my bill remains now higher than some other shops local to the area. As a matter of fact, if I hadn't asked about the transmission fluid at pickup, I would have left with the fluids 3 quarts low. And the courtesy wash of the RV before pickup that was mentioned didn't happen either. I think they saw me as money and the customer service was not even thought of as I was lead to believe when I first arrived and spent 45 minutes plus going over my service requests. Not many current reviews out there on them, but here is a current review. I would stay away from here as you cannot trust them to do the job or do the right thing for that matter! Sorry for the long rant, but I feel better giving the heads up to others that may live in the area to save them from a similar encounter.
