To the O/P.. I have an app on my phone that does several things
ONE: it displays signal strength several ways, Far more accurate than the 1,2,3,4,5 bars.. It has like 10 bars plus a digital meter plus a graphing function...
Two: with the WE BOOST off you go outside so you get a better signal,, Then you can ask the app where the tower is.. If it can identify the tower it will give you a starting location,, NOTE: the tower may be a mile or more off from the location ploted but you have a starting angle and can go from there.
App title is Network Signal INFO
Oh, it also gives me more info about the tower than I want and does Wi-Fi as well.
