Weather Widget

Does anyone use a weather widget for your desktop computer? what one do you use ? I would like one without a lot of adds and is safe for my computer. I am using Windows 7, thanks in advance. Jay
  • Good luck with the, "no adds," requirement.
    But, we use weather.com

Lots of configurable options and good real time radar.

We use the WEATHER CHANNEL APP and also WunderMap on our mobile computer setup... I like the WunderMap the best for tracking storms across our local area...

We have used weather bug for years now. It is now on our Windows 7 machine.

The free copy has some ads, but I can ignores them. (The premium, pay version has no ads.)

The nice thing is that as you travel, you can change the reporting station to your location are just by changing the zip code.

You can download an app for free on the right side of this page: Weather bug
  • Thank you for the info, I will try them all and see what works for me.
  • Just put the link to weather bug on your desktop so you can click it when needed.

IMHO don't download ANY of these especially weatherbug, they ALL come with a ton of bad baggage that gets downloaded on your computer.

Been there done that, and even after uninstalling it I never could get all of it off.

Your right I had it on my old computer with XP and had some problems, I installed it yesterday and this morning it caused a lot problems, wanting to start while my browser was loading than it got worse.
I uninstalled it and things are fine now. I will try putting a link on the desktop. Thanks for the info.

I use Forecast Fox in Firefox, do not use the widgets.
