Webroot is among the best in my opinion.
Having worked in corporate IT where we needed the ability to ensure thousands of computers were properly protected - I worded with a lot of A/V products.
Webroot isn't designed for a corporate world - but I put it on all my personal computers.
However, I'm finding that the newer Microsoft Windows Defender (Win 8) and Microsoft Security Essentials (Win7 and Vista) are doing a very good job at no cost.
So I'm not renewing Webroot.
While the MS default products stop viruses, I find the best product for malware to have is Malwarebytes.
