I'll give you my solutions
1) for each laptop I've had, I buy a 12V charging "brick" I know the factory charger is 120V, but for every HP, acer, asuz, laptop I've ever had they also make a 12V charging adapter. Usually they are available as OEM or aftermarket on amazon. That way it's like being at home
Basically they are a DC to DC converter with 12V in, 19 V out.
2) I get spare high capacity battery packs from amazon. even the aftermarket ones on amazon have been high quality
another option. with laptops so inexpensive now, new ones run way longer on a battery. I can run my Lenovo for about 3-4 hours on a battery charge and the big HP pavillion 2.5 hours or so on the std battery.
