It looks like the Vip612 is just what I need. I see that the outfit in your link is selling them for about half of what they run at Amazon. They say that you might get a refurbished set-that Dish sends them a mix and you can't tell, whereas Amazon says nothing about it. So am I right in thinking that the link you gave is essentially a refurbished price?
What they are saying is you might get refurbished and you might get new. But with this model, I would bet there are not any new ones left around. Count on it being refurbished.
