Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

You need to make sure all the waypoints you require for your route are there BEFORE you leave! It's easy to add new waypoints as needed.
