Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

I missed a turn for a destination that was programmed into my Garmin; it then directed me to "drive 19 miles and make a u-turn". Haven't used it since.....
