Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

Why are GPS units so much trouble? -> Could be the operator.
Personally, I find GPS units much easier to operate than trying to refold a paper map! :B
