I needed to run sat. to my office TV and garage TV. I only had one more outlet on my dish. I use a switchable splitter (A/B if you wish) and ran the cable from the dish to the single OUT of the splitter and ran one IN to one receiver box and the other IN to the other receiver box. Then I just select which TV I am going to watch. Dont know why that wont work for your use.
