I purchased a new Dell laptop that I received July 30th. When I turned it on the first time in the set up program it asked "Do You Want To Download 10" upgrade. When ahead and did it. I went in to the favorites section it had a button to download favorites from my IE. Said yes it came back it a few seconds and said completed but none of my favorites from my old system show up. Old system was a Windows 7 and IE was updated. Any ideas?

My Windows 10 works well. It will take some getting used to. Facebook works a little funny

What I am curious about is if you can down load Win 10 but not install just yet. Just want to get it while I can. I am still suspicious of MS as to what there ulterior motive is, they don't give anything for free, there has to be something in it for them down the line.

I'm not real computer savvy (I know the programs I use but nothing special about the OS) but one private forum I'm on has a lot of talk about Windows 10 passing out your passwords like candy on Halloween. Not sure how much truth there is to that statement but I will not be upgrading from 7 Pro until I hear from those I trust that the problems are no longer problems.
I'm signed up to update an old laptop to Win 10 to try it out, so no personal use experience yet. However, I have read a number of sites online that talk about privacy issues with Win 10.
