Windows updates ???
Anybody else getting these massive Windows updates? Seems like every time I boot up Win 7 I get a pile of updates. Not so much on my laptop running 8.1 but still a lot.

Yeah, I don't understand the issue either. There were some updates today, but before that it had been a week or two since the last updates.
I don't have mine set to auto update because there are updates, like driver updates for my video card, that I install separately.
