Winegard carryout 1518 issues
I have a 1518 that will not find the "bird". Other than Winegard does anyone work on these things?

Do you hear the dish running and trying to find the birds?
If no, have you checked to insure you have `12 volts to the dish? The connector from the factory isn't that great. I have just left that end connected and Ty-wrapped to it doesn't move too much.
It would be nice if Winegard would come up with a retro fit to change the connector. I may do it myself this winter.
Have you tried a different receiver? The one we use doesn't always like the dish and needs to be reset more often. I plan on changing it out with another from the house.
