Mine did the same thing. The clueless tech support people at Winegard were never able to assist in resolving the issue. Every time I move a long distance it takes forever (so long you assume it is broken) to find the sats. If you only move a few miles it locks on in 5 minutes.
Just have to live with it as I doubt you will talk to anyone at Winegard who understands the problem much less can fix it.
