I'm actually on the east side of Lake Okeechobee near Indiantown.
As I said in my post, I think that more testing is needed to come to a conclusive result. I have another Batwing antenna, but it is not amplified. I don't know the gain of the preamp in the amplified version, so testing that one would not prove anything.
