Wineguard pathway x2 question

You can set the Pathway for EA or WA (IIRC). WA will give you 110, 119 and 129 which it sounds like what you are hoping for. You will not be able to watch 2 different channels if they are on 2 different satellites as the dome antennas contain only 1 LNB and can point toward only 1 at a time of the 3 Dish satellites.

This pathway x2 is SUPPOSED to be able to point at all 3 and get 2 diff sats at same time on 2 tvs............it has 2 lnbs...at least that is what we were told. BUT...it loses channels on BOTH tvs. I'll try to figure out the EA or WA (Iirc)

with the pathway 2 you can only watch two different shows if they are on the same satellite. When you hook up the 2nd tv you need to do the setup again.

okay...we figured it out. And because we're on the west coast we won't get locals. This is BS....we'd have to do the set up all the time and would lose 10 minutes of a program. Looking at the ads, I wonder how they get away with the lie...or omission of facts!!!! I am NOT happy we spent the money for this!!!

The reason the X2 goes to 72.7 for a two TV hookup is because that sat has the most HD channels on one sat. As Bill said, the X2 can only point to one sat at a time, just like all other domes.

okay, I now understand that. But say I'm watching something on the sat that is east coast (72) (2nd tv not on) and now I want to watch Jeopardy on our west coast local channels, I have to do set up again...right? And that takes a good 10 minutes....... Am I right? That's what happens to us and I find thst totally unacceptable!

If you are out West use the Western Arcs when doing your setup.

As far as getting locals have you talked to DISH, phone or chat, to give them your current location?
