Both of these printers are wireless and copy and scan. Scanning includes sending the pic or pdf to a PC.
I buy ALL of my ink from 499inks - that's right is $4.99 for any cartridge. So does the rest of the family. Why pay more?
My ink jet that drove me crazy in cost and ink is what drove me to a Brother. It had separate cartridges for color but I agree must have been using colors in black. It wouldn't print black and white Word docs when grey was empty. It's air play feature also never worked with my iPad. I echo the warning on Canon.
