I concur with OutdoorPhotographer. Brother makes good wireless laser printers that have a reasonable price per page. Laser is absolutely the way to go if you won't print much/regularly. It's also faster.
I will also echo what some others have said: I have never seen a wireless printer that offers it's own WiFi network to connect to; you will need a wireless access point of your own since it connects just like your computer and other devices do. That WiFi network does not have to connect to the Internet, so any cheap access point or router will do. Of course, you might WANT it to connect.. So your mileage may vary.
