Has nothing to do with being cheap. You caught a company trying to take advantage of you. Unfortunately that is how companies like them, that don't have a product worth anywhere near what they are trying to charge, try to steal from you.

I canceled mine and now they are offering 6mo for about 25.00. Never paid them more. Get 6 mo and cancel. They even gave me 2 months free recently which covered our trip to the Keys this winter. Don't think I will bother any more. We don't even get 5.00 mo out of it. I would never go long term with them.

I have the Sirius Radio with NAV/TRAVEL aides and it costs around $24 a month... Paying by the month doesn't seem so bad for us.. Lets see now $24 x 24 months is $576.00. You had the better deal at $409.00

Mine came with my 2010 Ford Truck... Really gets used here when we are on travel with its weather maps and the such... Have all my News and Weather stations on the select buttons... Got my Willie Nelson Roadhouse an NASCAR going as well...

Been using it since 2010 now and probably couldn't do without now haha...

My kids showed me how to setup the trip thing one time and used our local hospital. They all went home and then I get in the truck and it says "Turn right here" and maybe "Turn Left there" and really gets mad at me and says "TURN AROUND NOW!!!" I didn't learn how to turn it off haha... Finally went to the hospital and made all of the turns etc. Got there in short order. Then as soon as I left the hospital it starts yelling at me again... Hard to teach old dogs new tricks I reckon...

Been wanting to get the inside version of it and use it in my trailer with my same account...

My 2010 truck also came with the rear step-up tail gate. I probably would never purchase one of those but it sure is a handy thing to have around too haha...

I've had Sirius for years, and each year it's the same thing. They send a renewal notice for well over $200, I call them to cancel and I get it for $25 for 5 months or $30 for 6 months. I got tired of playing this game and cancelled on two of our three vehicles. I left it on the vehicle we use for longer traveling. Their stations and music selection becomes redundant after a while anyway.

I didn't even take that offer. Only in the car 40-50 miles a week.

Pandora is FREE and works for me with my unlimited data on Sprint iPhone 7 Plus or new unlimited Mobley hotspot for $20 month

I cancelled on my truck after the bill got way too high. I have two other vehicles I still have it but will cancel when they are up to renew.

I got a letter offering a discount for 6 months if I renew on my truck. I tossed it. Don't want to play games. Offer a good price and I'll stay. Otherwise don't need it.

When Sirius and XM were separate and competed the prices were reasonable. The FCC allowed them to merge saying it did not create a monopoly since there are other ways to listen to music. Rather predictable that shortly after the merge the prices escalated. No thanks.

They do play the auto renew high rate game, preying on people not paying attention.

I set a reminder on my iPhone to cancel a few days ahead of the renewal and always get the $5/mo rate.

Statements? Are we talking about paper?

When I bought my truck, it came with 6 month free Sirius... Think I used it for maybe an hour total...

Won't work in the garage.

Go under overpasses and it cuts out.

Plug in my usb ipod with around 1900 of my favorite songs on it and I'm good..

I add to the ipod song list all the time, so it's ever growing.:)

Anyway, I wish the truck had HD radio.. I'd give up the cd player and Sirius button for HD radio in a heartbeat..
