- Y-GuyModeratorI've owned my own domain for a number of years. For about $50/year I get my own email name, no ads and email accounts for each of my family members. I can archive my emails, move hosts whatever I want to do with them.
Yahoo has moved away from their email/chat other features since they don't monetize very well. - More_To_SeeExplorerAnd what's really nice about those free email services is that they strip everything out of your emails of any use to them and try to turn a profit with it.
I'll just pay 50 bucks a year to be with a paid service and hope that maybe perhaps I have some slight privacy in my email. - rr2254545Explorer

not here. we're heavy users of Yahoo Mail and have had no interruptions as you describe. maybe a local DNS issue?? there's always G-Mail or Outlook.com as a free alternative.
