I tried every combination of a number and it would not take it.
It's TMI. IMHO Yahoo does NOT need a phone number. My guess is someone else is asking for it along with the scans. :(
I'm sure all the different departments across the nation are jumping up and down with joy with all the info they can get now by simply calling Yahoo for it.
Yup I know it's a free email service, so is the whole internet, but we shouldn't have to give up our 4th amendment to use a service offered, but it looks like now we have. It was great to use to keep all the spam on the yahoo email address and keep your real address nice and clean and free of spam.
Yahoo, Google, Facebook, all just about making it mandatory to link all your accounts and phone to them. Many already have like lambs to slaughter but I'm still going to dig my heels in on this. I don't do anything google and I clicked no to all linked requests.
I dropped 8 years of my blogs and pictures of RV'ing when they insisted I had to have a google account to access my site. :(
Oh well.
