Yahoo now wants phone# to get an email account

I use only yahoo email accounts to access anything internet. Been doing it for years. This keeps my personal email totally free of spam. I have not had a spam email in my personal email for over 18 ye...

I was going to agree with your indignation - no need to make it easy for the Orwellian spies. Then I looked at my account information and it has a number in it from a burner Tracfone I bought years ago. No smartfone for me - I get no texts on the Tracfone.

Oh well...
