Hydrogen peroxide is an unstable substance (breaks up by itself) (H2O2)
Household Bleach is a catalyst. (NaCIO)
Mixed together...hydrogen peroxide decomposes and oxygen is released along with salty water (NaCI + H2O + O2)
Mixing Pure Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite NaOCI) and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) together will produce Chlorine Gas (CI2) :E
