what can I run on a 3000 inverter?
You would need a HUGE solar array and a battery bank to match to even consider running a small AC unit without 110v hook-up. - JohnnyG73ExplorerYou would need a HUGE solar array and a battery bank to match to even consider running a small AC unit without 110v hook-up.

Try a tire store... - olbaby30ExplorerDo any one know where to find tires for my 77 sportsman?
- ol__grouchExplorerWell, you can head to the parts store and look for a Haynes and a Chiltons manual. I prefer Haynes. What size is the van you want to modify? On the fenders, right in front of the door is an emblem. It will usually have a number following a letter. Being a van, you have a B series. This is NOT a class B, but the series B vans. Look at the engine to see if you have a small or big block engine. If the distributor is in the back, it's a small block. If it's in the front, you have a big block. Usually, these had small block engines. There will be a plate in the drivers door, either on the door itself or the door jamb, that will tell you the engine, transmission, rear and front axle capacity and gear ratio in the back, at least what came from the factory.
If you want a roof a/c, you'll need to use 120. You can't get a heavy enough inverter to run that big an appliance. Plug in inverters will run a computer, not an a/c system. - bikendanExplorer

yep, not going to be able to run the a/c from an inverter.
you'll need shore power or a generator 3000w or higher. - pappcamExplorer

Perhaps if you would form your questions into comprehensible complete thought you would get better responses.
It costs exactly the same amount to type a complete sentence as it does to type the gibberish that you have posted.
Do you no,(KNOW) any specific information on your Tradesman? Is it a 1/2 ton or 3/4. What engine does it have? 225 slant six, 318 V8 360 V8.
you are not going to run roof airconditioner off an inverter.
Mileage depends a lot on you, lead foot or soft foot.
Is a 1977 even compatible with unleaded gas? The phase in was longer for trucks than it was for cars, does your van have hardened valves and seats?
There is a lot of help available if you can find a way to express your desires in a concise manner.
Someone had to say it. :) - pitchExplorer IIPerhaps if you would form your questions into comprehensible complete thought you would get better responses.
