Check your vehicle's original manual. Or, if you think that it would be ok, and the warranty is out anyway, then tow away.
One thing I have seen some manufacturers suggest is to start the car and let it idle in neutral for a few minutes after a day of towing. This will allow it to push lubricant around in the trans case for a bit before driving.
