80 Amp inline breaker keeps tripping

I just pulled my Damon Challenger out of storage for the first trip of the season. I have everything in order besides my auto leveling system. Every time I attempt to put down my jacks, my inline 80 amp breaker trips. I've traces all of my power lines leaving the breaker, and they appear to be in good condition/order. At this point in completely lost in what I should troubleshoot next. My leveling control unit is a LCI ELECTRONIC LEVELING system. If anyone could provide me some ideas, I would be extremely grateful.
  • Is this the unit you have?
    LCI manual
First thing I would do if it is like yours, is to disconnect the battery and control wire from the pump. If the control wire is under the same crimp connection and the circuit breaker still trips, separate it.
Now you should know whether it is in the motor solenoid, the control wire or between the battery and the motor solenoid.
  • Enblethen, Thank you for the assistance. It ended up being my battery wasn't putting out enough amps to kick the motor into action. I put her on a trickle charger throughout the night, and now it's working like a champ.

I was going to say that. the 80 amp breaker is the main house battery breaker.. If it's tripping then one of two conditions exist

One, you are pulling too many amps
Two: it's getting old and weak

Most likely causes of Conditoin ONE:
IF engine running (Fast idle at least) House batteries are low on charge
IF engine NOT running,, Chassis battery is low.

(On my Righ the jacks are a chassis feature, run off Chassis battery/Alternatorm, with ENgine Running, Not all are wired this way).
