Did you check these out? Here is a site that caught my eye. https://rvshare.com/usa/california/los-angeles/rv-rental/class-a
Excellent link! I bookmarked it. Has cheaper prices and seems reliable enough. Thank you! Great!way2roll wrote:Yep! Some offer as little as 100miles with 1.5$/miles extra. Some have no water. Most only offer 4 hours of generator time. I need to be careful with calculating the end price.
Just be very careful with the fine print. That price per day is the base, you will have fees so please make sure you account for those.way2roll wrote:This is a great RV but it is not suitable for 4+2. We need the 2nd separate sleeping compartment, for the second couple of adults. For example, driver overhead compartment or separate bunk beds with curtain/sliding door.
This looks nice, sleeps 8, has bunks etc. Diesel so will ride extremely well but still only 36 feet in length. Anyway, some food for thought. I estimated a trip and it comes in at close to $350/day which is a pretty good price for all it offers. It includes dishes a bike rack, TV's, DVD players, HDMI cables, etc. Again, just a cursory look, but this seems to check a lot of the boxes for you. It even states, "international travelers welcome", so they are likely used to helping you with your particular scenario. https://rvshare.com/rvs/details/1005673
But thank you for the link. It is erally useful. We will have to invest some time and select with care.
That RV I sent you has bunks with doors, as well as a door for the master bedroom. The couch folds out into a bed for the little ones (or put the little ones in the bunks and parents on the fold out couch).
Really hard to find any rv with 2 completely separate sleeping areas - like 2 separate bedrooms. The only one I know of is the Damon Challenger 37KT. The front has French doors with a couch that opens to a bed, TV, fireplace etc (and sometimes an overhead bunk). With the French doors closed, this becomes a separate bedroom. We looked at this model a while ago because of this totally separate room feature. There is of course a separate master bedroom. The trick would be to find one to rent.
here's one for rent in UT that has the drop down bunk in the front room as well as the fold out sofa.
37 KT for rent
Here's one (not for rent) but has better pictures and a floorplan so you can see what I mean.
