I just disconnected the wires at the motor and wired directly to a battery.......thereby bypassing the control box. It still does the same thing.....it tries to extend but stops at about 5 inches. Reversing the current retracts back to "start." I would guess the motor is okay and the controller is okay. Again, there are NO knobs on this system. Any other suggestions? (Other than EXPERT?)
