Power Awning

I have started to go over everything top and bottom but its a bit cold now.I see under cabs the pex is going to rub on the holes they cut in the cabs.I will fix that along with anything I think looks like it may be a problem..Yes I will take my step latter and am working on a list of tools spare parts exc that I may need .Been enjoying this forum and trying to learn everything I can take in but its going to take allot of time I think. Thanks everyone.

Keep in mind one of the first comments. In order to crank it you usually have to reach it.

After backing my truck up to the side of the trailer, so I could stand on the tail gate to remove heavy snow and close the slide; I now carry a five foot ladder.

Do yourself a favor, spend some quality time with your new RV crawling in, under, and on top. Write down the brand and model number of every item. Google that info and download the manuals for each.

That pin you found might be the bathroom door emergency key in case a child locks him/herself in the bathroom. The RV awning strap is in the below link and often it's in the owners folder as well.

I did just what you guys said today and found information on most everything,, Thanks.. Because I got my trailer so late I don't no if the fridge, water heater, AC, and all the pluming is in working order. They did put antifreeze in it. I do no my tank valves ore open and the cover was inside the TT..I put it on. Ill feel allot better when I can get everything working this spring..:R

FYI : I was advised, once you do a manual roll up, do not con't to use it that way. I was told the manual roll up is a one time deal, that needs to be repaired before the next use.

When they say it needs to be serviced, they mean it will need a new motor. When you manually roll it up, it ruins the motor.

I just came in from the TT in the cold and snow..LOL. Yes I have been in that stack of paperwork 100 times. There is this pin that's about 2-1/2 in long with a hole drilled in one end and the other end of the pin has a flat area. No string..I looked at that pin before and wondered what is this,,extra parts. There is no info in the paperwork about the awning..If this is the part for it thanks for letting me make a fool out of myself here instead of at the dealer.LOL..
