I'm probably repeating here.......I'm new to this site and don't have it quite figured out yet.....sorry about that.
I have checked the motor and the control box on my electric awning and they seem to be in working order. If the roll and spring assemblies are okay, shouldn't one be able to pull the awning out by hand? Maybe tieing a rope on each end and pulling on it? If such a small motor can extend the awning.....I would think two persons pulling on it should be able to extend it......UNLESS....something is jamming up in the roller.
