How much 'capacity/payload' do you have left on rear axle/rear tires cause diesel fuel weighs 7.25#/gallon PLUS fuel tank.
We have a 36 gallon fuel tank......and in 7 yrs of full time travel on secondary/backroads we NEVER got into a situation where we would have NEEDED extra fuel.
Just a lot of weight to pack around for 'justincase' and then you have to rotate the fuel
Long haulers.......you bet
Those that drive 12 hrs. you bet
Regular folks........WHY?
