awning stick? reacher? dumb question

One more use: sometimes, because of a scenic view, we'd park 180-degrees in a space. Then we'd have to toss the power cord under the MH; and the awning rod becomes the "pull-across stick"

Made one from 1/4" steel rod.

Besides CW, I'm sure you can also get one at any rv dealer.

It's a wonder tool!
open and close the awning
poke logs in the firepit
positioning those wood blocks under the levelers
grabbing those wood blocks and pull them out from under the moho
reaching that item in the back of the storage bin
draw in the sand or dirt while tending the fire
tease the dog
poke your firepit neighbor
push a small tree branch out of the way so it does not snag the TV antenna
measure how far your slides stick out

The Colby T is so low to the ground that I have no need of the rod to pull the awning down. I've used it for other purposes, though. Great way to get wipes out of the black tank. I accidentally dropped a Clorox wipe down when cleaning the toilet. Every time I ran water to fill the black tank before dumping, I could see it floating in there. The awning tool did the trick.

Our last trailer had clips installed inside a closet. The rod just snapped into them. Might try looking along the closet walls.

We had several totes under the bed in that trailer for storage. The rod was handy for snagging the ones at the back and dragging them within arms' length.
