We do the same thing, we travel for 2 - 4 months and then leave the MH someplace in storage. Right now, we're home for the summer with the MH stored Stateside.
Traveling for only two weeks make sense if you're using vacation time. I you're retired, flying home after only two weeks is a little different. I get very tired of dealing with the hassel of airports and security.
