I think Pete's generally has a good reputation. Their parts/store/service department has treated me quite well on a few occasions. I don't personally have experience with their sales department, though...and, as with any vehicle dealer, I'd go in with my eyes open.
Tires do last somewhat better in Vermont than they do in Arizona heat and sun. Depending when the tires were replaced (and I assume on a '98 with 100K miles they have been replaced at least once and most likely twice), they may or may not need replacement.
As with any used RV, check carefully for signs of water damage. It might not hurt to take a quick gander underneath and see if there is substantial rust; operation on salted roads at winter can be destructive. (Minor surface rust is not a concern, but of course substantial structural damage would be very troubling.)
