Motor homes, Travel Trailers and Automobiles have one thing in common...they loose big $$$ the minute you drive off the lot. The best thing you can do is simple....find what you like in a quality unit that has been well maintained and lightly used. I'm talking about a unit in "like-new" condition.
Let the first owner take that huge depreciation hit in the wallet. If you buy right you will only give fewer dollars when you sell it. It is almost impossible to come out even.
Back in the "Carter Years" of massive uncontrolled inflation I managed to buy a one year old Travel Trailer in "as-new" condition, use it for 6 years and sell it at a small profit. Under current economic conditions with the Fed printing billions of dollars everyday that will never happen. Even real estate is all too often a poor investment.
Get what you love and enjoy it....sell it when you must and never look back.
