That was an eye opening search..I learned a lot about the rubber roof and things I should be looking for when viewing different units..Thanks for the suggestion,,I did take it and read a lot,,learned a lot too..

Any one recommend an insurance company for a new RV'er?? Should I just see about adding it to our car insurance or go to a company that deals with RV's on a regular basis?? I should have been asking this question a lot earlier than now..Thanks

I did not know that Coachman took over the Georgie Boy line..Does anyone know when that happen??

No reason to rule out a coach only because it has a rubber roof. Like everything else, it depends on if the roof was properly maintained. Look the the roof. See if it's cleaned and the rubber is still pliable. If there is any black material showing, the white layer has worn off. Move on. Check the penetrations for proper caulking. Check the inside for signs of water infiltration (strains on the overhead, peeling wall panels).

Thanks for the advice,,sounds really good,,and the "what to look for" items and how to detect them,,I am buying from a man who was stuck with it, never used it and knows little about it,,other than it was garage kept most of it's life,,I have a camping world a mile from me,,I may have them seal the roof if I do buy it,,I just don't know what kind of cost that would be,,or if I could do it myself..Thanks for the info..

Why not try a weekend rental so you 2 could get an idea of what you definitely would NOT want and what you would like different in Your coach. It could be a few dollars well spent and prices should be reasonable this time of year.

Thanks Matt,,good advice and great links,,I'll check them both out..I am not super set on a RexHall and am now looking at a 200 Monaco in Chattanooga Tn at a dealer..Like you,,I have been shopping awhile and between my wife and I we have come up with some must have's in our living arrangements..We kind of started it unknowingly and now we look out for each other,,and some of it's just small things,,Like a night table on each side of the bed,,little things..Please,,if you think of any other things don't hesitate to leave them here with me..
