If you're in Michigan, you need to start hitting some of the RV lots before they close everything up for the winter, not necessarily to buy, but to look at all of the various makes and models. Start looking at the floor plans to see what you like.
What length do you want, a gas or diesel, how many slides, size of shower, size of bed, etc, etc, etc.
This is the best time of year to buy from a dealer or private party because they don't want to store them all winter.
