Camco Fridge / Cabinet Bars Help!!
How in the heck do these things work? The ones I have are about 12" long and sound like there is a spring in there. They're supposed to expand to fit across the width of the fridge. How do I deploy...

Nobody has mentioned that they come in different sizes. Short ones (which seem to be what you have) are for the freezer or kitchen cabinets. Longer ones fit all the way across a fridge shelf. The adjustable end(s) only unscrew about three inches (IIRC) and then fly apart, never to go back together.
The bars can be installed across an opening or up and down, if that is more convenient (On our trailer up and down works best in the cabinet above the television.).
