camping site

I'm just venting here. I work at a campground. It amazes me how people park their units on a site. We place poles on ground to help define the dividing line, so what do people do , they park their unit close to the pole and when they put out the slide they extend over the pole into the site next to them. Now in order to get into a storage bin they have to encroch on the next guys site to get into it. Come on people, use your head. And help me if I have to work on your electric panel, I get to squeeze between panel and our rig. As I said just venting. I'm sure some of you will have a crude remark to say to me . oh well.

  • Are the sites all gravel or all grass? Using the power pedestals as dividers isn't exactly an all defining indicator. Does the park escort people to their sites and then offer to help them situate the RV on the site? By nature, people are going to park to maximize their front yards and the heck with the consequences. If all they do is assign a site and then let the guests loose and there are not well defined parking pads within the sites, you really need to be complaining to park management and not to the general public.
