As far as a full timer it sounds like a pain that is coming down the line because of anti terrorism regulations. I wonder how the bank validates the physical address is actually your address and not something like the nearest small town store or something.
The 123 W 5th is what you tell the plumber, or UPS, or Fedex. You have the PO box # as part of the address which is offical per the USPS, because the USPS does not physically deliver mail to the street address. Not everyone has the guy in ugly blue shorts coming to the box on the porch or a person in an SUV pulling up to a box on a post at the end of the driveway or lane.
