Thanks for pointing out ice cubes in black tank are a myth 06Fargo.
There are so many great suggestions here, I cant respond to them all but will say I never need to get up during the night to take a leak. And when I did need to go, I used a Gatorade bottle. Something you never leave home without! Why didn't I use the toilet? A coworker told me about a camper he had which he could never get that smell out of.
I will take a closer look at the seal, but last I remember it did hold water but Im not sure how long. I'll put some vegetable oil, or Crisco on it before I test it this afternoon.
I really liked opnspaces suggestions and will follow them after work.

Oh, almost forgot. I was on I70 and there was a accident up the road which closed down the interstate couple years ago. They let all the cars turn around and go back to the last exit because it was bad. You should have seen the expression on the huge female truck driver's face when I told her "she cant use my toilet because....." hahaha
I almost got a black eye!
