Trying to open the drain valve that hasn't moved in 5 years.
And then checking for leaks again after it is closed.
I operate both valves quite often. I left them open over the winter and had to dig some stuff out of the valve's rubber slot before it would close yesterday completely.
Maybe I should take them apart and lubricate with vegetable oil.
After researching more, sounds like allot of people have problems with the level indicator sensors gunking up and not reading. Even though my toilet sits over my black water tank and I can simply look down and see the level, is there a good way to prevent the probe's from failing? Should I get a garden hose wand with 90 degree elbow on the nozzle? Or finally install the
Camco Quickie Flush I bought a few years ago? I don't think I can drill a hole in a position where it will rinse the probe's though..
