comparing rvs

Doc, we've owned a Winnabago and 2 Tiffin Phaetons. I really don't think you will make a mistake choosing either brand. We really like going to Red Bay, where if we mess something up, or want to upgrade or change things, there are so many pros in Red Bay qualified to make the changes. If we get a scratch, we go to Bruce Denton ' s body shop. ( thankfully, no scratches on the 2012 YET). Having owned both Tiffin and Winnebago, we would most likely stick with Tiffin
( the techs will work on other brands too)

I think you are probably right in your assessment of Fleetwood. By all accounts that I have read, ASV has really stepped up Fleetword in build quality and customer support.

I'd definitely select between the Tiffin and the Winnebago with the choices in that order. Nobody has a better track record of quality & support than Tiffin but Winnebago is not too far behind. If you happen to see something from Newmar, that is the name that I'd rate between Tiffin & Winnebago, if they have what you want. I would then choose based upon the price, assuming that all are equipped pretty much the same. Either Tiffin or Winnebago should serve you well.

I belive that you have already answered your own question and are trying to decide what brand, fuel, and drive train you want,
All I can offer is whatever makes you happy so do your research and listen to the advice from others then make your decision based on that.
