Well, this IS an RV forum and people travel so if I were to lose my wallet while on the road mailing it back to my home would do me no immediate good BUT still would appreciate getting it back. Your honesty is commendable and its too bad there are people a bit less than honest. I think putting a note with my cell phone number on it would be fine.....though I have not done that as yet.
We pulled into a Walmart parking lot once to see a woman load her groceries and leave her purse in the cart while she drove off. Wife and I walked over and got it and took it into the customer service desk. We shopped and when we were leaving saw the woman and a police car following her drive right up to the door and she ran inside. We left without saying it was us who turned her purse in.
