Dicor...removing and putting on new with TPO roof.

What do you use to remove Dicor with? I have best results with "Goo Gone" and plastic putty knife. Then I use spray bottle of dish soap to remove the Goo Gone residue. Then apply new Dicor if needed.

Any body have any better ideas?

What works best for you?

(In this case I'm pulling out vent fan and adding a better model)

You didn't ask but be aware there was a variation of TPO roof with which regular Dicor lap sealant is not recommended and for which Dicor developed a different two part system called Ultra Sealant.

Ditto...We contacted our manufacturer to confirm the type of roof we have (TPO). I then contacted Dicor to find out exactly and how much I needed. They said it required the 2 step ultra sealant process and I need a quart of the primer and 6 tubes of the ultra sealant. Whereas Camping World said they neeeded 12 tubes of dicor to do the job...wrong...8 tubes, ok...but twice as much? Seems like they wanted me to pay for their extras. This is part of the reason I lost faith in them.
  • I've used Pure Spirit Gum Turpentine. It melts through dicor, and silicone caulk as well. Be mindful when using it. It stinks very much. Everyone downwind from you will not be pleased with you.
  • Try mineral spirits for cleaning. Use the Ultra mentioned above.
