You can have Directv in your home and RV at the same time. Currently we have the Genie in the RV and the HD25 in the house. When I take the RV the house still has the HD25 and can receive HD programing.
When Im home I run a cable from the house to the RV and have whole home in both the RV and house.
Works just fine.
