The DirecTV dome on the RV only gets SD. I do take my HD receiver out of the house and plug it into the RV. It works just fine. Of course I only get SD but the receiver is smart enough to figure that out. I just use the setup menu to change the dish type and it locks on and we have TV. I do not have separate accounts for the RV. If we want local, we use the HD over the air antennae. I would cancel the RV account and just take the box out of your house.
