Direct TV

Hello,

I just bought a new motorhome with a direct TV satellite on the roof.
I called Directv and had new service installed in my house assuming that I could take a box on the road in my RV like I have always heard from other RVers.

But then I was informed by Directv that I would have to have 2 bills. If I had known that, I would not have bought Directv service.

Has anyone else had this problem? Or, is there a way around this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. Ken

  • Get Direct TV for house. Make sure which antenna you have on your rig. It is most likely standard definition.
Order standard definition for house, then take that receiver with you on the road. Do not change location. We use the over the air antenna for local and the dish for most TV.
  • Why would need 2 bills?? I have DitecTV and get 1 bill. Yes I have in MH
  • Take it. We all do. Evidently they just love to hire people to keep you on hold, listen to awful music and ads, then lie to you.

That said, if you want an RV account with DNS, then yes, you must have a separate account.
