Disinfecting Water Connections
I just purchased a new TT and haven't used it yet. I know I have two available water intakes. With the city water connection, do I need to disinfect it and the kitchen and bath faucets? If so, how?...

I have RV for over 45 years and I have never sanitized the water system.
Well, I take that back; I put a cap of this stuff in the fresh water tank once in a while and call it good.
As far as bleaching the hose bibs with bleach and all of that, no. I have never gotten sick on vacation either. And yes, you will hear people come on here and talk about dogs peeing on the hose bibs and all of that. Big deal, wash the spiders out of the valve and call it good.
Do what you feel comfortable with and call it good. No need to over think this.
But don't listen to me. I used to drink out of the garden hose when I was small. :B
