Ill jump in. I'm OCD, a jermafobe. I have 2 25' water hoses, fill one with bleach and then hook to water source and fill the water tank. Once filled turn on your pump and let the faucets run until you smell bleach. Let stand for 4-6 hours. Drain your tank and water lines and refill and flush until bleach smell is gone. I do this once a year.
At the campground I do spray and wipe down the entire water spigot, my hose ends and the inputs onn the fiver. is all this necessary, probably not but it makes me fell better. Oh, don't ask to me shake your hand because if I do I'll will immediately clean them with hand sanitizer which will probably offend you.
